Philippians 2:15: That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;
God is counting on us to earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints according to Jude 1:3.
This current generation is a perverse one; one that obstinately desires to behave in a biblically unacceptable manner. Talk of LGBTQI+, talk of prostitution, talk of youth killing for money, talk of corrupt leaders embezzling public funds at the detriment of the entire nation, talk of bias ruling in the judiciary, and the list goes on.
A perverse generation rejects what is revealed. They know there must be a God; they don’t honor Him, they don’t give thanks. They become empty in their understanding, and their foolish heart is darkened. They profess to be wise, but they are actually fools, and they exchange the incorruptible God for some other deity of their own making.
The grand opening of the Paris Olympics was no exception. We saw how the Last Supper was publicly adulterated and how our Savior Jesus was publicly mocked.
The wrath of God has no dimension when it has been released, but Our God is slow to anger like the scriptures rightly observe.
Well, I am not so much marveling at this current development in our world. The reason is clear. All these are cardinals of the end times. Jesus Christ is soon coming. Watch out! Be careful you don’t join in this agenda of perversion.
Let Jesus be known, seen, and heard in the world wherever you find yourself. Time is fast running out!
Prayer: Father in the name of Our Lord Jesus Christ, I thank you for this Word. Help me to work out my salvation with fear and trembling in this crooked and perverse generation. We humbly ask this in Jesus’ mighty Name. Amen.
