Scriptural Text: Proverbs 18:21
The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit. (NIV)
Comments:
1. You create your life by the words you utter daily. Words are very powerful and can make or unmake you.
2. Negative words are like cancerous cells that can ruin your entire body and render it helpless if nothing is done to revert that anomaly.
3. In the garden of eden when Adam gave names to the living things God created, Bible says that; whatever name he gave permanently became their names even till now.
4. We are products of our words. Life and death lie in the power of the tongue. The tongue has great power to manufacture life and death by what we choose to say each day.
5. We reap the fruits of our utterances. We are being admonished to speak positive words even in the midst of negativity.
6. Our words should be words of joy, healing, positivity, encouragement even in the midst of sorrows, sickness, negativity, discouragement respectively.
7. Words are powerful so use it wisely.
Let us Pray:
Heavenly Father, thank you for your Word today. We humbly ask that You will equip us and enable us to use our tongue wisely to speak positive things concerning our lives to be able to reap positive fruits that will be pleasing in thy sight. We humbly ask this in Jesus Mighty Name.
