Wealth acquired by unjust means will soon evaporate.
Be guided by God in your pursuit for wealth.

Bible verse: Jeremiah 17:11- “As the partridge sitteth on eggs, and hatcheth them not; so he that getteth riches, and not by right, shall leave them in the midst of his days, and at his end shall be a fool.” (KJV)
The Patridge is one animal that will often sit on eggs that are not its own and then abandon them without hatching them.
The above text is metaphorical. It is comparing a patridge to a human being. God is using this to illustrate a spiritual principle that describes someone who gains wealth or riches through unjust or dishonest means.
The verse is saying that just as the partridge sits on eggs that are not its own and doesn’t hatch them, so too will someone who gains wealth through unjust means eventually lose it. They may enjoy their wealth for a time, but it will ultimately be taken away from them, and they will be left with nothing.
God is communicating something profound here; that He alone Who is just promises the acquisition of wealth that will last forever. All the gold and silver are His. Do not be wise in your own eyes by using unjust means to acquire wealth. That is short-lived. Be guided by God through His Word in wealth acquisition.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I have learnt that You are the Only giver of true wealth. I surrender my financial life unto You. Please take control over my pursuit of wealth. Cause my ways to be pleasing in thy sight from today onwards. This is my humble prayer in Jesus’ Mighty Name. Amen
