King Belshazzar, son of Nebuchadnezzar reigned with pride, had no regard for God, did many abominable things and never learnt from the mistakes of his father.
God’s wrath rekindled against him and was demonstrated in the form of handwriting on a wall that goes like:
‘Mene, Mene, Tekel Upharsin’ meaning: I have weighed you O king Belshazzar & found you wanting.
He was deposed from his kingly throne, his glory was taken away from him.
.This is what happens when you allow pride to go before you in life.
.This is what happens when you live a life according to the pleasures of this world.
