Be Deeply Rooted In Christ Jesus.

Every tree takes its strength and nourishment from the soil. How deeply rooted a tree is will determine how it will be able to withstand storms and adverse weather conditions.

Your depth will determine your height. The foundation for a bungalow can not sustain a skyscraper. The reason why your faith is not working might be because you have the foundation of a bungalow yet expect to become a skyscraper. It doesn’t work like that.

Be deeply rooted in Christ Jesus through the daily study of His Word, prayer, fasting and constant fellowship with the people of God.

When God wanted to create animals and trees, He spoke to the soil. When He wanted to create fish and other aquatic animals, He spoke to the water. When He wanted to create man, He spoke to Himself. It shows that the source of trees is the soil, the source of fish is water, and the source of man is God.

You can not succeed and be fulfilled in life if you move out of your source. The very day the fish gets out of the water, it dies. The very day the tree is uprooted from the soil, it begins to die. Similarly, the very day you turn away from Jesus Christ, you begin to die.

I admonish you to remain firmly rooted in Jesus Christ. He is the only one who holds all the solutions to the problems of this world.
