Making the kingdom of God the number one priority on your checklist is the most important thing you can ever think of in life. Making the Word of God the top priority of your life is crucial in causing every other thing to fall into place for you.
The righteousness of God refers to living an admirable life, a life that is pleasing to God, according to His standards of righteousness.
We all have basic needs in life. Food, shelter, clothing, and money, to mention but just a few, are some of the things we all need to have a comfortable life. Jesus is saying that when we prioritize our relationship with God and seek to live according to His will, He will provide for our needs.
Again, when we put God first, He will take care of the rest. We don’t have to worry about our needs because God will provide for us.
Let me hasten to add that in this Christian journey, it’s not a promise that we will never face difficulties or challenges, but rather a promise that God will be with us and provide for us as we seek to follow Him.
